Primary action

This multi-enzyme blend contributes to the full digestion of ingested foods thereby alleviating many of the conditions and symptoms of improper digestion.

Strict raw material assays at body temperature are used to verify the quality of the enzymes used in Digezyme to ensure the maximum possible activity. These enzymes are non-animal, pharmaceutical grade and contain no mycotoxins, fungi or other contaminants. The enzymes are chosen and blended to remain active throughout a pH range of 2-12, so that they retain their activity after passing through the acid conditions of the stomach and are therefore fully active in the small intestine where most of the digestive process occurs.

An important but often overlooked factor in plant enzyme preparations is to utilize enzymes that are active at body temperature. For example, a plant-sourced protease may have an activity of 60,000 units at a temperature of 25oC. Yet, at 37oC (body temperature), the same enzyme may only have an activity of 2,000 units, if any at all. This can be misleading, which is why the enzyme activity units for Digezyme have been normalized to show their exact activity at 37oC, human body temperature.
