Medicinal Ingredients

Each caplet contient :
- L-5-HDP (L-5-Hydroxytryptophan) (Griffonia simplicifolia) (seed) (99% pure 5-Hydroxytryptophan) 100 mg

Non-medicinal Ingredients: Dicalcium calcium phosphate dihydrate, microcrystaline cellulose, purified water, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant), enteric coating.

Suggested usage

1 caplet 3 times daily with food or as directed by a health care practicioner.
Use for a minimum of 1 week to see beneficial effects.

For use beyond 1 year, consult a health care practitioner.

To minimize the risk of gastrointestinal side effects, start dosing at 100 mg 2 times daily and slowly increase to 3 times daily over a period of 2 weeks.

This product does not contain artificial preservatives, colour or sweeteners; corn, dairy, soy, starch, wheat or yeast.

Cautions

Consult a health care practitioner if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 3 weeks (chronic insomnia).

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking carbidopa or drugs/supplements with serotonergic activity.

These may include, but are not limited to, products such as L-tryptophan, S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe), St. John's wort, antidepressants, pain killers, over the counter cough and cold medication containing dextromethorphan, anti-nausea medication and anti-migraine medication.

Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you show signs of weakness, oral ulcers, or abdominal pain accompanied by severe muscle pain or if you experience skin changes.

Do not use if you have scleroderma.

Some people may experience drowsiness.

Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness.
