The oil is a rich source of gamma-linolenic acid or GLA, an omega-6 fatty acid found in vegetable oils. It is known to help balance hormone levels, relieve PMS symptoms and promote healthy skin.
Evening Primrose Oil from Health First is non-GMO, cold-pressed, and hexane-free. It contains a minimum of 9.5% GLA and 10 IU of natural vitamin E, which allows it to be preserved.
