Cold-pressed from the pits of the hand-harvested marula fruit, our marula oil provides a mosaic of nutrients that will make your skin glow.
Archeology teaches that marula has been used as a source of nutrition and healing for approximately ten thousand years. Its succulent fruits, kernels, and leaves were, for South African civilization, a pillar of their diet and medicine. Marula is also present in South African folklore, where the behaviors of elephants feasting on its fermented and fallen fruits are illustrated in traditional stories.
Marula oil has a fine molecular structure, which gives it a light texture that easily penetrates the skin to strengthen its lipid layer. Once this layer is hydrated, it can retain moisture and thus reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Marula oil also improves skin elasticity to maintain a youthful appearance.
Well-hydrated skin is also more resistant to environmental toxins and fluctuations in temperature and humidity. The antioxidant action of marula oil, a rich source of natural vitamins and minerals, helps protect sensitive skin from free radicals and UV rays.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Place 5–8 drops in your hand and gently massage onto your face and neck. Body parts with a larger surface area may require more oil. Apply preferably to slightly damp skin, after showering or bathing.
