NOW® Super Cortisol Support is a botanical and nutritional blend formulated to naturally support a healthy adrenal stress response. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a medical condition, are taking any prescription medication or hormone replacement therapy (HRT) or if you have liver disorder. Stop use if you develop symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness and/or loss of appetite and consult a healthcare practitioner.

Contra-Indications

Do not use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, attempting to conceive or if you have bipolar (spectrum) disorder. Consumption with alcohol, other drugs or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended; exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness.

Known Adverse Reactions 

May cause heartburn, shaking hands, perilabial numbness, sexual dysfunction and thyroid dysfunction. If you experience irritability or insomnia, discontinue use and if symptoms persist or worsen or if you develop symptoms of liver trouble (such as abdominal pain, dark urine or jaundice) consult a health care practitioner.

For use beyond 3 months: Dizziness, irritated skin, nausea and diarrhea have been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Rare, unpredictable cases of liver injury associated with Green Tea Extract containing products have been reported in Canada and internationally.
