Trophic’s Boron is beneficial for the maintenance of good bone health. Boron appears to be important for optimal bone health because of its favourable effects on and interactions with the key players involved, including calcium, magnesium, Vitamin D and estrogen. In individuals with osteoarthritis, evidence indicates that these people have lower levels of boron in bones than people without this disorder. Boron is regarded as relatively safe and non-toxic because any excess is easily eliminated, primarily in the urine. Evidence suggests deprivation of boron in the diet affects proper calcium metabolism and is detrimental to proper bone formation and maintenance, specifically important to individuals at higher risk of conditions like osteoporosis or bone fractures.
