Centaury, the Bach flower of affirmation
The Little Centaury, Centaurium erythraea, belongs to the Gentianaceae family.
It is a herbaceous plant whose flowering tops are used in aromatherapy, herbal medicine and gemmotherapy.
The Little Knapweed, also called Eritrea, grows slowly. It is often undetectable among other plants because its flowers are frequently folded.
However, when the sun floods them, they bloom revealing dazzling beauty.
Centaury likes humid environments and mainly thrives on the edge of woods and in meadows, in clayey or silica-rich soil.
