Gentian, a Bach flower full of determination
Gentian actually refers to about thirty species of flowers that can be found throughout Europe. Sometimes cultivated in gardens, it is above all a wild plant. Often a very rich and deep blue color, it catches the eye. With its long tubular corolla, its shape is also very special, because it resembles a trumpet. It is usually fifteen to twenty centimeters tall and usually grows in groups.
Bach flower Gentian is a strong plant, which knows how to adapt to sometimes difficult soils, and in particular limestone, because it is mainly found in mountains, in meadows, but also on cliffs or on dunes. She also has a remarkable ability to adapt. Indeed, it closes in on itself when it rains or when it feels a cold snap coming. A movement that can be very fast when necessary, only about twenty seconds. In order to survive, it can also remain closed for a long time, until the temperature rises or the rain stops. She then opens her petals to the sun, determined to soak up the heat.
