What is Opti-EPA Enteric-Coated by Douglas Laboratories?

Opti-EPA is a concentrated marine fish oil, providing eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid. Sufficient dietary levels of EPA and DHA fatty acids are important in the normal functioning of cardiovascular and neurological health. The oil used in Opti-EPA is the highest quality available and has gone through an extensive molecular distillation process to ensure the best possible product. What does Opti-EPA Enteric-Coated do?

The omega-3 fatty acid EPA is the direct precursor for the prostaglandins E1 and E3, whereas DHA is of primary importance for the structural integrity of neuronal membranes.
