Turmeric (curcuma longa l.), a relative of ginger, is native to the tropical regions of asia. This perennial plant contains the active component curcumin, a yellow pigment which has been incorporated into ayurvedic and traditional chinese medicine for centuries. Each vegetarian capsule provides 500 mg of turmeric per capsule for use as an anti-inflammatory and to help relieve stomach complaints.
Studies have revealed that 500 mg of curcumin supplementation helps lower key inflammatory agents like t-kininogen and l-theostatin, associated with joint pain and inflammation, in experimental models.1
Organika‘s curcumin vegetarian capsules is formulated with turmeric which is an anti-inflammatory agent. Inflammation has been shown to play a role in most chronic illnesses. For maximum effect, combine with black pepper to enhance absorption.

Ingredient
Medicinal ingredient – each vegetarian capsule contains:
Turmeric (curcuma longa l.) (rhizome) ……………………………………500 mg
Non-medicinal ingredients: hypromellose / pullulan (vegetarian capsule), magnesium stearate, brown rice flour.
Recommended dose – (oral) adults only: take 1 capsule three times per day with meals.
Duration of use: for prolonged use, consult a health care practitioner.
Cautions
Consult a health care practitioner if you have a history of gallstones, biliary tract obstructions and/or stomach ulcers; or if you are taking blood-thinners. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
